En esta la primera lección del año los alumnos que acaban de ser seleccionados en sus casas deben conocer la historia de Hogwarts y para ello vamos a ver unos vídeos y usar unos simples dibujos basados en el colegio y sus casas.
También vamos a decorar las corbatas que deben llevar durante todo el año en el colegio (cada uno con sus respectivos colores de cada una de las casas). Para decorarlas corbatas vamos a usar materiales sencillos (hay que recordar que son niños y niñas de primero - 6 años - y deberemos dejar el material perfectamente preparado). Las corbatas las vamos a recortar usando una plantilla de goma eva o cartulina. Los escudos de cada una de las casas los fotocopiaremos en papel para cada uno de los alumnos, y las rayas que sirven para decorar las corbatas también las recortaremos en goma eva o cartulina
Después simplemente pediremos a nuestros alumnos que salgan con su corbata y digan su nombre y a que casa pertenecen

Hogwarts was founded around 990 A.D. by four of the greatest wizards and witches of the age: Godric Gryffindor, Helga Hufflepuff, Rowena Ravenclaw, and Salazar Slytherin. They each represented an aspect of personality that they wanted to bring out in new students.
Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry was the British wizarding school, located in the Scottish Highlands. It accepted magical students from Great Britain and Ireland for enrolment. It was a state-owned school, funded by the Ministry of Magic.
The precise location of the school could never be uncovered because it was rendered Unplottable. To Muggles, the school appeared to be an old, abandoned castle. Similarly, most wizarding schools' locations were protected in order to prevent their ways of teaching being revealed, as well as protect the students and schools themselves from any harm
"Now I want you to decorate and make your own tie. This tie must wear the colors of your House. Remember: Gryffindor is red and yellow; Ravenclaw is blue and grey; Hufflepuff is yellow and dark blue and Slytherin is green and grey
You must wear this ties when you attend the classes at the School of Hogwarts. The materials that you need are just ready on your respective tables. You have one tie for each one with your respective colour and you have two options: You can decorate just simply adding the sketcher of your house in to the tie using glue or you can add the different strippes on your tie like the example provided by the teacher
Then you simply have to come here with your decorated tie and say your name and the house you have been sorted to"
